Previous experience, ability to work with maps, grading systems, erosion control plans, and traffic control plans are desired. Jobs often require the following motions: standing, walking, bending, lifting various weights, pulling, reaching, twisting, throwing, and squatting. Due to project deadlines, extended work hours of 12-15 hours may be required at times, as well as weekend work. Due to the nature of the job, exposure to various weather and temperatures occur. Safety is of utmost importance, which is why adhering to safety regulations is expected of all staff.
